Shirley Margaret Ingle Musick

Shirley Margaret Ingle Musick, 90, of Abilene, TX passed away February 25, 2013 at a local medical center. Shirley was born to Virgil and Margaret Miller on April 23, 1922 in Abilene, TX. She married George H. Ingle in 1938. She married Virgil Musick in 1967. Shirley wore many hats her first, being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and great great grandmother. She spent many hours sitting on the sidelines of sporting events cheering on Ronnie, grandkids and great grandkids as they participated in many sports. She also spent a great deal of time volunteering for West Texas Rehab Center, serving on the board of Christ House, serving as a deacon of First Christian Church, teaching Sunday school at First Christian Church and was a charter member of the Couples Class at First Christian Church.

Shirley is survived by a son, Ronnie Ingle and wife Claudia, a granddaughter Shawn Ingle Kennedy and husband Don, a grandson Layne Ingle and wife Jaylene, great grandchildren, Kelcee Kennedy Davis and husband Robert and Blayz Ingle, great great grandsons Gage Bryce Davis and Ryker Alan Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, George Ingle and Virgil Musick and great-grandson, Bryce Andrew Kennedy.

Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, February 26th, 5:00-7:00pm at Piersall-Benton Funeral Directors 733 Butternut Street. Funeral Service to be held Wednesday February 27th at 2:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, Abilene.
