Zachery Joseph Melton

Zachery Joseph Melton, 32 of Abilene, passed away January 10, 2013. A service is scheduled for 10:00 am Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest under the direction of Piersall Benton Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut St. A visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Zachery was born in Dallas, Texas to Arnold and Lynda Melton. He grew up in the Dallas / Fort Worth area and moved to Abilene three years ago. Zachery was a landscaper and worked for various companies all around Texas.


Preceding Zachery in death were his uncle and his grandparents. He is survived by his wife Kashia and four children Zachery Orion, Isabella Neoma, Trinity Gabrielle, and Hunter Carlisle as well as his mother, Lynda Wellborn and his father, Arnold Melton. Zachery will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
