Joshua Michael Wolaver

Josh Wolaver, 35 of Abilene, passed away in Jacksonville, Florida on December 26, 2012. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, January 4, 2013 at Hamby Church of Christ under the direction of Piersall Benton Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.

Joshua was born June 15, 1977 to Mike and Terri Wolaver. He attended Hamby Elementary and Clyde High School. He attended Lubbock Christian University and Texas Tech for a period of time where he was a Mechanical Engineering major. Josh was a faithful member of the Hamby Church of Christ. He was a frequent volunteer at Global Samaritan in Abilene.

Joshua is survived by his parents, Mike and Terri Wolaver, his sister, Caroline Wolaver of Jacksonville, Florida, his aunt Blanche Bounds and husband David of Fort Worth, his uncle; Marcus Manly and wife Leslie of Denton, and his uncle David Wolaver of Abilene. Cousins Paul Bounds of Houston, Benjamin Manly and Kathryn Manly of Denton. He is also survived by his grandparents Borden and Mary Manly and Joseph and Kathleen Wolaver of Abilene. Joshua will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
