Julia Gaynell Lambert

Julia Gaynell Schulze Lambert was born in Bangs, Texas on July 12, 1917, to John Henry Schulze and Esther Faye Heffington Schulze. She died in her home of 65 years at the age of 95 on July 24, 2012.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her parents-in-law, Ealy Monroe and Katie Webb Lambert; her brother, John Schulze, Jr.; her husband of 60 years, I.M. (Top) Lambert; and her great grandchild, Chase Allen Pearson. She is survived by her sister, Billie Hanley of Aledo; children: Gayla and Dick Pearson of Ruidoso, NM; Glo and Joe Hays of Tahoka, TX; Jackie and John Goen of Seminole, TX, and Stan and Debbie Lambert of Abilene, TX. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Ric, Patric, Katie, Jackie Jo, Joe Clyde, Julie, Johnna, Wes & Jay. Additionally, she is survived by thirteen great grandchildren: Ivan, Roman, Emma, Karly, Reese, Owen, Lydia, Jack, Isaac, Joey, Sophia, Ira, and Opal.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Piersall Benton Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut St. in Abilene, Texas. Burial will take place at 10:00 am in Bangs, Texas, on Friday the 27th with a celebration of her life to follow at 2:00 pm in the University Church of Christ Auditorium in Abilene.
