Bertha "B.F." Fayette Gibson

Bertha Fayette Gibson, 89, passed away March 31, 2012 while in the loving care of Hendrick Hospice. A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 am Wednesday April 4, 2012 with James and Billy Crim officiating at Elmwood Memorial Park in the Garden of Prayer. Viewing will be from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Tuesday at Piersall Benton Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut St.

Miss Gibson was born September 9, 1922 in Haskell, TX to Vic and Ada Kuenstler. She moved to Abilene in 1938 with her family. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the widow of Arvol "Cotton" Gibson. Survivors include her sister Wilma Williams of Abilene, two sons; Rick Gibson and wife Karen and Mike Gibson, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
