Kenneth Wayne Hollingshead

Kenneth Wayne Hollingshead, 56 of Abilene, passed away Sunday, March 4th, 2012 at Hendrick Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm, Tuesday March 6th at the Potosi Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Clifton officiating. Arrangements were handled by Piersall Funeral Directors.

Kenneth was born January 5, 1956 in Abilene, Texas to Elmer and Dovie Hollingshead. After graduating high school he entered the Air Force. After a brief career in the Air Force Kenneth became an auto mechanic. He moved back to Abilene from Arizona in 2010 to be closer to family.

Surviving Kenneth are his three daughters; Kelly Barnett and husband Vince, Katrina Crawford and husband Bo, and Brandi, three sisters; Frances McKelvain and husband Kenneth, Carol Hollar and husband Paul, and Joan Bouchillon and husband Sam as well as 6 grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends. Preceding Kenneth in death were his parents and a brother Dan.
