Carolyn Sue Clark

Carolyn Sue Clark, 62 of Breckenridge, passed away Thursday January 19, 2012 at Stephens Memorial Hospital. A service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Trinity Baptist Church in Breckenridge with burial to follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut St. A time of visitation will be held before the service at the church.

Carolyn Sue was born to Marion Andrew "Slim" DeLong and Leona Hines DeLong on September 2, 1949 in Hutchinson County, Texas. She was raised in Monahans and graduated from Monahans High School. On September 27, 1967 she married the love of her life, Craig F. Clark in Wickett, TX. Together they raised two children Chuck and Shelley.

In 1981 Carolyn Sue and Craig moved to Breckenridge. Over the years Carolyn Sue managed apartments, worked for the Breckenridge American as well as several other jobs. She was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Surviving her are her son Chuck Clark and his wife Angela of Abilene, her daughter Shelley Wimberley and husband Ricky of Breckenridge, a sister Linda, 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Preceding Carolyn Sue in death were her Parents, her husband Craig, a brother Bill DeLong, and a great-grandchild Tylee.
