Carol Ann Musgrave Adkins Fine
ABILENE
Carol Fine went to be with her Lord Saturday, November 5, 2011, while attending a candlelight service for a Walk to Emmaus.
A service celebrating her life will be held at Broadview Baptist Church, 2500 S. 27th Street on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Reverend David Cason and her brother Reverend Donald Musgrave will be officiating. Visitation with family will be held at Broadview Baptist Church on Monday, November 7, 2011 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. In the spirit of servant-hood, Carol has decided to continue giving, even after death, by donating her body to Texas Tech Medical Center in Lubbock, TX.
Carol was born January 12, 1942 in Okmulgee, OK to the late Ray and Wanda Musgrave. She is survived by her brother, Donald Musgrave and wife Dona of Claremore, OK and two uncles, Andrew Musgrave of Oklahoma and Carl McCauley of California. She has lived the majority of her life in Abilene, TX where she is survived by four children, Teressa Johnson-Crisman, Robert Adkins and wife Christy, Ron Adkins and wife Christy, and Tammy Adkins Martinez and husband Tommy. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one nephew, one niece, five great-nephews, several cousins, and a host of friends. Carol is preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Michael Jones; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.
Carol was very active in her church, Broadview Baptist, including Sunday School, the Primetimer Choir, the Home Bound Ministry, and Christian Women’s Job Corp. She has been an active member of TOPS and KOPS for numerous years. Several years, she volunteered at Hendrick Medical Center and has been a member of the Red Hat Society.
Her children would like to thank Hendrick Hospice Care for the care and support for our mother and family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Hendrick Hospice Care of Abilene, TX. Condolences may be offered to the family online at www.pbfuneraldirectors.com.
