Terri Simons

Terri Joan Simons, 46 of Abilene, passed away in her sleep Saturday September the 3rd, 2011. A Celebration of Terri's life is scheduled for 3:00 pm Thursday September 8th, 2011 at Highland Church of Christ under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut St.

Terri was born January 21, 1965 in Beaumont, TX to Aubrey and Barbara Jane Terrell. She moved to Abilene in 1993 where she graduated from TSTC with her nursing degree. Terri was a wonderful nurse, an enthusiastic member and volunteer at Highland Church of Christ and Freedom Fellowship, but her most important role and the one she cherished was that of mother to her three children.

Surviving Terri are her three children Olivia, Sara and Lillie Simons; three sisters, Eugenia Lee Sowell, Audrey Olivia Terrell, and Maria Torres and a brother Aubrey "Tadpole" Terrell, Jr. In addition she is survived by her brother in faith, Terry St. Pierre and surrogate grandmother to her three children Denise Koepke. Terri was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Gwen Sue Fox and Juana Dee Minter.
