Jack Beeman

April 3, 1947 — May 28, 2011

Jack Alexander Beeman, 64 of Abilene, passed away Saturday May 28, 2011 at Hendrick Medical Center after fighting a valiant battle with cancer. A celebration of his life is scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday June 2, 2011 at the Pioneer Drive Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Reid officiating. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm after the service in the Clyde Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8pm at the Piersall Benton Funeral Home, 733 Butternut St.

Jack Beeman was born to Virgil and Fay (Faris) Beeman on April 3, 1947 in Abilene, TX. He grew up in Abilene and on April 11, 1969 he married the love of his life, Peggy Watson. In 1970 Jack enlisted in the U.S. Air force where he faithfully served his country. After his time in the military Jack worked for the Texas Department of Transportation for 34 years.

Surviving Jack are his wife Peggy, a daughter Paula and husband Eric Michener, a son Dustin Beeman, a brother Mike Beeman, two granddaughters, Chelsea and Raigen and a cousin Joanna Covarrubias as well as many other cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother Kyle Beeman.
