Linda Smith Adkins

Linda Lee Smith Adkins was born on October 5, 1936 in Odessa, Texas to Luther and Anna Smith of Crane, Texas, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 3, 2011, after a long and courageous battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Linda's will was amazing, just like the lady she was. Linda was surrounded by family at her ranch in Novice, Texas where she passed peacefully. She had incredible faith in the Lord and was a Baptist. Her kind, caring and nurturing spirit will be sorely missed by all those that knew her. Linda met the love of her life, Tom Adkins, in Crane, Texas and they were married on December 17, 1955.


She is preceded in death by her parents Luther and Anna Smith, husband Tom Adkins, and grandson Justin Dudenhoeffer.


She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Janis Adkins of Midland, Tx, - daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Ricky Naumann of Marble Falls, Tx,- grandson, Russell Adkins and wife and great granddaughter, Jessica and Kylie Skye of Kihei, HI and granddaughters Taylor and Katelyn Naumann of Marble Falls, great grandson, Justin Brody Conn of Marble Falls, Tx - Sisters Bobby Rouse of Galveston, Tx and Ella Joyce and brother-in law Gary Joyce of Christoval, Tx - Sister - in law Patt Pitts of Visalia, CA and many nieces and nephews.


Graveside services will be at Greenwood Memorial Park - 3100 White Settlement Road at University Drive - Ft. Worth, Tx at 3 p.m. on Friday 6th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hendrick Hospice - P.O. Box 1922 - Abilene, TX 79604.
