Judy Carole Harrison

It is with both heavy hearts and joyful memories that we announce the passing of Judy Carole Harrison fondly known as "MiMaw," who left this world peacefully on January 24, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on July 16, 1940 in Ranger, Texas, Judy brought light and love to everyone around her during her remarkable life in Abilene, Texas.
Judy was a devoted wife, a cherished mother, and an adoring grandmother. Her greatest delight came from caring for her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She would stop everything to engage in playtime, ensuring that every moment spent together was filled with laughter and love. Her nurturing spirit and kind heart enriched the lives of all who knew her.
As a faithful Christian, Judy dedicated her life to serving others and sharing her faith. Her devotion to her family and unwavering belief in God were evident in her daily life. We are confident she will hear “Well done, my good and faithful servant” when she receives her reward.
Judy is survived by her loving daughters, Rhonda (Walter) LaGrone, Brenda Keefer, grandchildren, Elisabeth LaGrone “Beth”, W. Scott LaGrone III “Trey”, Kamie (Bryan) Parks, Kristin (Jordan) Wright, Kourtney (Joe) Martinez, great-grandchildren, Macie and Mallie Parks, Brae, Bane, Blythe and Breck Wright, Laney and Charlie Martinez.  Peggy Blackwell, sister-in- law, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories that will continue to resonate with her loved ones for generations to come.
Judy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Keith Harrison, her parents, JG and Eva Blackwell, sister, Shirley (Donald) Blackburn, brother, Rodney Blackwell, nephew, James Blackwell and son-in-law, Tony Keefer.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Judy’s memory to your favorite children’s charity or local animal shelter, reflecting her commitment to caring for others.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Clyde Nursing Center for their thoughtful attention and loving care.
